Zithromax
Zithromax belongs to the same group of antibiotics as erythromycin. In many cases of infectious diseases erythromycin and amoxicillin are so effective, as well as azithromycin. It is necessary to consider, that azithromycin is much more expensive than the alternative medicines. Some experts advise to use this drug as a backup for therapy of infectious diseases for patients with AIDS.
If you take Zithromax, do not take terfenadine and astemizole simultaneously. These drugs combined with azithromycin can accumulate in an organism at dangerously high level that can lead to development of dangerous to life heart arrhythmia.Inform your physician if you have any allergies on medical products, chronic bronchitis, diseases of kidneys or a liver.
Inform the physician what drug you are taking including aspirin, medical herbages, vitamins and other medicaments.Inform your physician if you don’t have any improvements in your condition within two or three days, or if you have a diarrhea. Do not try to cure it yourself.
Take all quantity of azithromycin prescribed by your doctor even if you will feel much better before the termination of course of treatment. If you will stop to take the drug too early, symptoms can return.Do not give this medicine to somebody else. The medicine is not a subject to use on expiry of the validity term.
If surgical intervention, including teeth treatment is necessary to you, inform the doctor that you take this medicine.Take the drug with a full (200ml) glass of water on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after meal. Do not take the drug during a meal or simultaneously with antacid, containing aluminium or magnesium.
